Day 1: Arrival and Addis Ababa City Tour Arrive at Bole International Airport and transfer to your hotel for some rest
. Begin your exploration of Addis Ababa, a city rich in history and culture, nestled in Ethiopia’s unique highlands. Start with a visit to a local coffee processing and exporting facility, where you’ll learn about Ethiopia’s specialty coffee industry and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of some of the world’s finest coffee. Then, visit the National Museum, home to the famous ancient human fossil ‘Lucy.’ Next, explore the majestic Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the largest Orthodox Church in Ethiopia, containing the tombs and thrones of emperors and imperial family members. After lunch, ascend the Entoto Mountains for panoramic views over the city. Explore the Ethnological Museum, located in the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie, and discover Ethiopia’s diverse cultures, traditional artifacts, and royal history. End the day with a visit to St. George Cathedral, a historic landmark built in 1896 by Emperor Menelik II. Overnight in Addis Ababa.
