Then visit the iconic Church of Debre Birhan Selassie, renowned for its stunning ceiling of angelic faces. After a rich cultural day, relax and unwind at Haile Resort Gondar for an overnight stay.

avel road that winds through the highlands. In Debark, we’ll arrange park entry permits and pick up our professional scouts. From there, continue deep into the Simien Mountains National Park, arriving at the scenic Sankaber campsite. Enjoy your first taste of the highland wilderness, spotting endemic wildlife such as Gelada baboons and bushbucks along the dramatic escarpments. Overnight camping at Sankaber.
