Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa – Drive to Awash National Park Upon your morning arrival in Addis Ababa, depart immediately for A

Day 2: Birding in Awash – Drive to Lake Langano (via Ziway & Koka Dam) Early morning birding in Awash to spot species like the

Buff-crested Bustard, Ashy Cisticola, Abyssinian Roller, and Orange-bellied Parrot. Wildlife sightings may include: Greater & Lesser Kudu, Besia Oryx, Swayne’s Hartebeest (endemic), Hamadryas Baboons Then, drive to Langano, with major birding stops en route: Koka Dam (Awash River Bridge): Excellent for water and woodland birds Lake Ziway: Expect to see Crowned Crane, Pink-backed Pelican, African Pygmy Goose, Sunbirds, Woodpeckers, and more Overnight: Hotel at Lake Langano

Day 3: Birding at Abijata–Shalla National Park – Wenney Eco-Lodge Morning drive to Abijata-Shalla Lakes National Park, home to

large flocks of Flamingos and Pelicans. Highlights include: Marsh Harrier, African Fish Eagle, Yellow-billed Stork Pacific Golden Plover, Caspian Plover, Purple Heron Wattled Starling, Pygmy Falcon, Ground Hornbill After lunch in Langano, continue birding as you travel to Wenney Eco-Lodge, located in a tranquil forest east of Lake Langano. Day 4: Langano Birding – Return to Addis Ababa Start the morning birding in the Langano woodlands, one of Ethiopia’s richest bi

Target species include: Red-headed Weaver, Spotted Eagle Owl, Brubru, Banded Barbet Von der Decken’s Hornbill, African Pygmy Kingfisher Klaas’s & Diederik Cuckoos, Abyssinian Black Wheatear Later, drive back to Addis Ababa with stops at Lake Ziway and Koka for final aquatic bird sightings. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant with live music and dance. Transfer to the airport for your international flight. End of Tour
